Our Vision

Raising Catalysts of Renewal

I was only a teenager when God placed this vision of spiritual renewal on my heart. It was that momentous night that changed the entire trajectory of my life. After what seemed like a regular day with some moments of prayer, I went to bed. In the middle of the night, I was startled out of my sleep with these words ringing audibly in my ears;

“There is a coming move of God, it will be worship triggered, and knowledge sustained….and whose momentum cannot be stopped…”

I think these words, and others like it that followed later in my life, have shaped my entire life more than I could have known then.

The new global terrain we live in today calls for a new kind of Church—one that can faithfully launch a spiritual revolution grounded in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Yet, without the necessary biblical and practical tools, it cannot maintain spiritual vitality in the long term.

The Renew Movement is dedicated to facilitating strategic gatherings, mentorship, resourcing, consulting and coaching on renewal for personal, Church and global renewal in Jesus’s name.

During my years of theological education, I have read many books and articles on various topics regarding Church-life, ministry life, missional engagement, and the systems and leadership models that should guide them. Yet, very few of them focused on the Holy Spirit’s current role in all of that—or the underlining spiritual orientation that makes all our Christian work and witness powerful and effective. Yet, spiritual vitality remains the living foundation that holds all these, including our own lives, up. This is what this movement seeks to do.

My hope is that the work of the movement helps to bring back those needed dimensions to the life and ministry of the Church. And that together, we can restore and maintain Spiritual vitality in the Church in Jesus’ name.
